Primary Patient Population Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Primary skills utilized/learned Neurological assessments Adaptive ADLs; SCI retraining Transfer/Mobility training Vital signs, IVs, Foley catheter insertion/removal, wound care, etc. Personnel the Nurse Intern will work with RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, Social Workers/Case Management, Respiratory Therapy, PT/OT, Speech Therapy, Art & Music Therapy, Dieticians Number of beds on unit 24 beds MetroHealth offers industry‑leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. Required Qualifications Enrolled in an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation). Completed fundamentals of nursing. Currently registered in clinical rotations. Continuous enrollment in a nursing program. Eligibility to continue in the position is a maximum of six months upon graduating from nursing school.
