What You'll Do
- Provide a full range of primary care services to patients from neonatal to geriatric populations
- Conduct physical exams, preventive care, and health assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions
- Prescribe medications and refer patients for specialist care when needed
- Perform physical readiness, health assessments, and screening exams for military personnel
- Educate patients on health behaviors and self-care
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records
- Respond to medical emergencies within the clinic and coordinate emergent transfers when necessary
What You Need
- MD or DO degree with active, unrestricted medical license in any state
- Minimum 3 years of recent family practice experience
- Board eligibility in family practice or related specialty (preferred: board certification)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Ability to pass a government background check and obtain security clearance
About the Assignment
This assignment supports the Medical Homeport at Naval Health Clinic Lemoore, providing primary care services to active-duty military personnel and their families. The role includes routine medical exams, acute care, wellness counseling, and preventive health services, all within a collaborative military healthcare environment.
