RN - PACU Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Valid state license required; pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: Flexibility in schedule is essential. Ability to stay and finish the day as there is no shift relief. Description:This role involves pre/post-operative care in a PACU setting.Start times vary between 06:00 and 08:30, requiring flexibility.Nurses are expected to remain through the end of their scheduled shifts.Experience with outpatient surgery is preferred.Ratios are mainly based on the department's needs.Candidates should possess skills in critical care, pain management, and sedation monitoring.The patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.The daily census is approximately 10 patients.Procedures include outpatient surgeries across various specialties.Attendance during three of five designated holidays is required.References are mandatory prior to the start date.Candidates may be required to float to nearby facilities if necessary.Communication devices may be provided for work purposes as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr Cynet HealthStaff
