About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Outpatient Surgery Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day 4x9-Hour Hours per Shift: 9 Experience: Minimum 1 year as an operating room circulator License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: - At least 1 year of experience as an operating room circulator in the intraoperative setting - Experience with specialties such as retina surgery, total hip and knee replacements, hand surgery, breast oncology, breast reconstruction, ENT, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repairs, and podiatry Description: Schedule consists of four 9-hour shifts. Varied shifts include 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics. Required to maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 in the operating room, with an average daily census of 18. May need to stay over based on the number of completed procedures at the end of the shift. Holidays will be required if they fall within the assignment period. Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time. Compliance documents are to be completed in a timely manner prior to the start of the role. Travelers can expect to work all major holidays based on scheduling needs. No requests for time off can be made during orientation week. RTO is limited to a maximum of 7 days within the contract period.
