Investigator (Human Rights Specialist 1 Spanish Language) (NY HELPS)

The Division of Human Rights seeks an Investigator (Human Rights Specialist 1 Spanish Language) to conduct field and office investigations into discrimination complaints under New York State Human Rights Law. The role involves interviewing complainants, respondents and witnesses; developing investigation plans; preparing detailed reports; and providing technical assistance and training to community groups on civil rights law. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Brooklyn requiring Spanish language proficiency at Level 3.
