We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Child Welfare and CCWIS experience to support a large-scale state government technology modernization project.

The Business Analyst will work as part of a project team supporting requirements, user stories, testing, process analysis, documentation, and project coordination using Agile/Hybrid Agile methodologies.

MUST HAVE

3+ years of Business Analyst experience
Hands-on Child Welfare experience is REQUIRED
CCWIS / SACWIS / S/TACWIS experience is REQUIRED
Experience working on large-scale technology modernization projects
Strong experience with business requirements elicitation and documentation
Experience with User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
Experience analyzing business processes and workflows
Experience reviewing functional and technical requirements and design specifications
Experience participating in testing, test planning, or test case/procedure reviews
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Agile / Hybrid Agile methodologies

Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
Facilitate requirements gathering and JAD sessions .
Facilitate User Story Acceptance sessions with Product Managers.
Review functional and technical requirements and design specifications.
Analyze business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
Review user stories and provide feedback to product teams.
Review test plans and testing procedures.
Participate in user story refinement sessions.
Maintain requirements traceability throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .
Prepare meeting minutes, project documentation, deliverables, status reports, and presentations.
Track issues, risks, action items, and decisions .
Communicate project risks and issues to project management.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, technical teams, testers, and project management teams.

Additional Information

Consultants will primarily work remotely but must be available to travel to Springfield, IL as required.
Travel may be up to 25% on average .
Background check required.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Note: Candidates without direct CCWIS/SACWIS/S/TACWIS and Child Welfare experience will not be considered.
