About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 15:00 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN (ADN or BSN) Certifications: Required certifications applicable to the role Must-Have Skills/Experience: OR experience Description: Travelers must start on one of the following dates: October 12, October 26, November 9, November 16, or December 7. The facility has a total of 355 beds and offers various services including a Brain Center, Cancer Center, Heart Center, Lung Center, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Center, and a Level 3 NICU. The Emergency Department has 32 beds and there is a 29-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit along with a 15-bed surgical suite. The job requires completing 4 ten-hour shifts weekly with guaranteed hours. Weekend hours include being on call for 7 days per month, which includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:1. The facility is equipped with advanced technologies including Robotics, Mako, Holmium Laser, and Hana table. The Electronic Health Record (EHR) system used is Cerner. The patient population consists primarily of adults, with minimal pediatric cases limited to outpatient services.
