Role Description This part-time Cook role is an on-site position at Lansbrook Golf Club in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. The Cook prepares and cooks menu items to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistent quality and presentation for members, guests, and events. Daily responsibilities include food preparation, operating kitchen equipment, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and following food safety and sanitation guidelines. The Cook collaborates with the front-of-house team to support service during peak times, banquets, and special events. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels, minimizing waste, and assisting with menu changes or specials as needed. Qualifications Ability to prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including grill, sauté, and pizza making, following recipes and portion controls. Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper storage, temperature control, and sanitation in compliance with local health regulations. Experience working in a restaurant, clubhouse, or pizza place preferably in a golf club, hotel, or similar hospitality environment. Ability to work on-site part time, including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by club operations. Basic knife skills and familiarity with standard kitchen equipment (ovens, grills, fryers, mixers, and dish machines). Reliable time management, attention to detail, and the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification is a plus.
