Senior Financial Analyst

Company: Qualcomm Incorporated Job Area: Finance & Accounting Group, Finance & Accounting Group > Finance General Summary: Exciting opportunity to join Qualcomm's QCT Financial Planning and Analysis team. This position will focus on supporting the consolidations and analysis of the businesses under Qualcomm's QCT segment. The position involves validating and consolidating financial forecasts largely utilizing Tableau and Excel. Responsibilities include: Preparation of the QCT's quarterly financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans for executive management. Month-end close and variance analysis. Planning system support. Ad hoc and special analyses/projects. This position is strongly team-oriented and involves collaboration with many finance functions including business unit finance, operations, IT, technical accounting, and investor relations. Great opportunity in a high visibility role to provide analysis to the executive team while partnering with other finance organizations across the Company. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 3+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience. Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience. Preferred Qualifications: Tech industry experience. Proficient in: Microsoft Office Tools (Excel & PowerPoint), Tableau. Experience with Microsoft Power Query a plus. Prior knowledge of Cognos TM1. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 4+ years of experience in Finance/accounting, Financial Planning, or Corporate Finance; Financial Forecasting. Comfortable working in a demanding environment with the ability to manage various projects under strict deadlines. Must have the ability to thrive in a team environment. MBA is a plus. Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $88,000.00 - $132,000.00 The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted.
