experience) Greater Phoenix, AZ (remote) Vaco has partnered with a SaaS company to hire their next Controller.This role will lead the company's accounting operations while driving process transformation, system improvements, and post-acquisition integration efforts within a high-growth environment.You'll partner closely with executive leadership to strengthen reporting, improve step up quickly Responsibilities include: Lead transformation and standardization of accounting policies, controls, and workflows to improve consistency, accuracy, and operational discipline across the organization.Oversee full accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, revenue accounting, AP, and project-based billing to ensure accurate and timely financial results.Drive improvements in billing, collections, dispute resolution, and working capital by partnering with Sales, Operations, Legal, and executive leadership.Lead finance systems enhancements and post-acquisition integrations to improve scalability, reporting consistency, and operational efficiency.Manage audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and internal control environment while serving as key liaison for external auditors, tax, tax advisors, lenders, and other stakeholders.Requirements: BS in Accounting or related field required CPA license required Private Equity backed company
