Quality Assurance Lab Technician

Assist with quality issues on the factory floor Assist with wiring of luminaires Assist with LED driver programming Assist with evaluation of luminaire quality issues returned from the field Create and maintain a log of open quality issues in the field (requires a working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel) Assist with maintaining a clean and organized QA lab Assist with preparing samples for submission to CSA or ETL for safety certification Assist with thermal and electrical testing of luminaires A student currently studying electronics, electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred Experience Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment. Familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Vision Inspection Systems is highly desirable. Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection and analysis techniques. Knowledge of ISO 13485, HACCP, and other relevant quality standards is preferred. Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members across departments.
