Executive Director
NAMI Southwest Iowa is seeking a compassionate, organized, and mission-driven Executive Director to lead our growing nonprofit organization serving individuals and families affected by mental illness across Southwest Iowa. This leadership role is responsible for organizational strategy, staff supervision, program oversight, grant and financial management, fundraising, community partnerships, advocacy, and day-to-day operations.
The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in nonprofit management, human services, public administration, business, behavioral health, or a related field. Experience with staff supervision, budgets, grants, fundraising, community partnerships, public speaking, and nonprofit boards is strongly preferred.
This is a full-time, hourly position scheduled for 40 hours per week. Compensation is $45,760 to $52,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include an insurance stipend, paid holidays, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and mileage/travel reimbursement according to organizational policy.
