Job Title: Warehouse Associate 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday (5 hours of OT guaranteed weekly)

This Warehouse Associate role focuses on supporting warehouse operations by handling refurbished engine parts, managing inventory, and assisting with shipping and receiving activities in a fast-paced industrial environment. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient movement of materials, and maintaining an organized workspace while developing skills that can lead to long-term career growth in material handling or engine assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the receiving of refurbished engine parts by unloading, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments against documentation.
• Handle the picking, packing, and shipping of parts by preparing outgoing orders accurately and on time.
• Move, transport, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse to ensure efficient material flow and proper storage of engine components.
• Process incoming and outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently, following company procedures and documentation standards.
• Update inventory records and document inventory changes in company computer systems to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Perform inventory control tasks, including cycle counts, stock checks, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Carry out packaging responsibilities by safely and securely packing parts for storage or shipment.
• Support general warehouse responsibilities such as staging materials, consolidating stock, and maintaining clear aisles and work areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment by regularly cleaning workstations, removing debris, and following 5S or similar organizational practices.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines while handling parts, equipment, and materials in an industrial warehouse setting.
• Collaborate with team members and production staff to support overall production efficiency and meet daily operational goals.
• Demonstrate initiative by learning new tasks, cross-training in related functions, and taking on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Participate in training opportunities to build skills that support advancement into Material Handling or Engine Assembly roles.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of warehouse and/or shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to update inventory records and use company systems.
• Experience with general labor tasks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with inventory handling and basic inventory control practices.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport parts throughout the warehouse safely.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment with changing priorities.
• Strong work history demonstrating reliability and consistent attendance.
• Demonstrated initiative and a desire for long-term career growth in warehouse operations or manufacturing.
• Comfort working around engine components, grease, oil, and dirt in an industrial setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with packaging and preparing materials for shipment is a plus.
• Prior exposure to entry-level warehouse or manufacturing roles is beneficial.
• Basic understanding of inventory, shipping, and receiving workflows.
• No forklift experience required; candidates can learn on the job as needed.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a production-focused environment.
• Willingness to cross-train in Material Handling or Engine Assembly for future growth.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Motivation to build a long-term career in warehouse operations and manufacturing.

Work Environment

The role is based in an industrial warehouse and manufacturing environment where you will work on-site around engine components and related materials. You can expect exposure to grease, oil, dirt, and refurbished engine parts as part of normal daily activities, and should be comfortable getting dirty while performing your duties. The setting is fast-paced and production-oriented, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and efficiency. You will use basic computer systems to update inventory and process shipments while working closely with other team members on the warehouse floor. The environment supports collaboration, clear communication, and adherence to safety practices to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
