Structural Welder

Structural Welder - Travel Opportunity We are seeking experienced Structural Welders (Pulse Arc) to support the construction of aircraft carriers and submarines at major naval shipyards in Newport News, Virginia or Charleston, South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled welders with shipyard experience who are looking for competitive pay, per diem, weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits. Responsibilities Assist in the construction and repair of aircraft carriers and submarines. Perform multi-pass, all-position fillet and butt welds. Utilize welding processes including: SMAW (Stick), GMAW (MIG), FCAW (Flux-Core), GMAW-P (Pulse Arc). Work in physically demanding shipyard environments, including climbing ladders, staging, and shipboard compartments. Follow OSHA safety regulations and shipyard procedures. Perform Air Carbon Arc Gouging as required. Use fillet and butt weld gauges to verify weld quality. Successfully complete all-position, multi-pass butt weld qualification testing in accordance with MIL-STD-248D standards.
