Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN with at least 2 years of recent specialty experience for a GI Lab position requiring holiday coverage.

Details

Work in a hospital GI Lab performing a wide range of GI and pulmonary interventional procedures.

Procedures include colonoscopies, EGD, bronchoscopies, feeding tube placement, ERCP, EBUS, GI bleeds, flex sig, foreign body retrieval, navigation bronch, variceal banding, Bravo manometry, and capsule endoscopy.

Schedule is 4x10hr day shifts, Monday-Friday 0630-1700.

Call required during the week and on weekends.

Requirements

Active RN license (GA or Compact) required.

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in GI/Endoscopy specialty required.

Additional Information

Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).

Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered.

Former perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service.
