As an Unarmed Security Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol galleries, public spaces, and surrounding areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist visitors, communicate clearly with staff and guests, and report concerns promptly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, volunteers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a cultural institution setting.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout galleries, public spaces, staff areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, provide directions and assistance, and support orderly entry, exit, and movement throughout the location.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
