Part-time employees are not eligible for employer-sponsored health insurance or other full-time benefits.Where You'll WorkDrivers are based out of our Butler County locations in:HamiltonMiddletownOxfordWe operate service seven days a week, up to 23 hours per day, offering a variety of schedules to fit operational needs.What You'll DoAs a BCRTA Vehicle Operator, you'll:Safely operate 35-foot transit coaches and 25-passenger cutaway vehiclesProvide exceptional customer service to every passengerHelp people travel safely throughout Butler CountyWork independently while following established routes and proceduresUse onboard technology, including tablets and mobile applications (we'll train you!)Follow all safety regulations and company policiesWhat We're Looking ForYou'll be successful in this role if you:Enjoy serving others and working with the publicAre dependable and arrive on timeCan work independently and make sound decisionsAre comfortable learning new technologyHave excellent safety awarenessMinimum QualificationsClass A or Class B CDL with Passenger EndorsementClean driving record (fewer than four points)Ability to pass a DOT physical examinationAbility to pass a DOT drug screenAbility to pass state and national background checksAbout Butler County Regional Transit AuthorityBCRTA is a regional public transit agency serving Butler County, Ohio, including Hamilton, Middletown, Fairfield, West Chester, Oxford, and Miami University.
