Gastroenterology Physician

Gastroenterologists are urgently needed for locum tenens coverage at a prominent healthcare facility. This opportunity requires expertise in ERCP and EUS, offering a dynamic role within an inpatient setting. With flexible scheduling options and potential long-term engagement, this position offers a comprehensive experience in the field of gastroenterology.
Key Details- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
- Setting: Inpatient
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: 24-hour call shifts; various dates available
- Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric, Adolescent
- Location: Lakewood, CO
- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates
- Weekly direct deposit
- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
- Supportive credentialing assistance
- Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable)
- Flexible scheduling (optional if applicable)
- Perform advanced procedures such as ERCP and EUS
- Evaluate and treat a range of GI problems
- Conduct scoping and endoscopy procedures
- Provide consultation services
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active CO License or IMLC
- Active DEA
- Completion of Gastroenterology Fellowship
- Clean malpractice/background preferred
- 24-hour call shifts with 5-7 days per month
- On-call and weekend duties required
- Proficient in performing ERCP and EUS
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC
- Strong communication and consultation skills
