We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Physician specializing in Gastroenterology to cover ongoing and urgent needs, ensuring seamless patient care during scheduled breaks and coverage gaps. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma hospital, performing essential procedures such as ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, and managing complex GI conditions in a dynamic and supportive environment.


Required Skills:

• Valid medical license in Colorado or eligible via IMLC
• Proven experience with ERCP, EUS, Endoscopy, and GI patient management
• Proficiency in EPIC EMR with recent experience preferred
• Ability to perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced inpatient setting

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with trauma or Level 1 Trauma centers
• Prior experience in high-volume outpatient or inpatient GI practice
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous but not required
• Familiarity with hospital protocols for trauma and critical care

Preferred Education and Experience:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• At least 3 years of post-residency or fellowship experience in gastroenterology
• Prior locum or temporary assignment experience is preferred

Other Requirements:

• Availability to start on December 8, 2025, with ongoing engagements through early 2025
• Participation in EMR virtual training and completion of all credentialing prerequisites prior to start
• Willingness to stay at designated lodging partners; local candidates encouraged
• Ability to work 5-7 days per month, with shifts ending by 7 am the following day, including on-call and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Commitment to providing high-quality care in a Level 1 Trauma environment with urgent and elective cases
