RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care

The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care is a crucial part of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed caregivers. This role is dedicated to ensuring that patients, families, and significant others receive individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care in a clinical environment. This position is guided by a model that emphasizes professional practice, evidence-based care, and research.

Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality, safe patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols, collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered care, upholding the standards of nursing practice as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, implementing the Scope of Practice and adhering to the Code of Ethics as established by the American Nurses Association, advocating for the voice of the patient while adhering to system policies and procedures, and supporting the organization's service excellence goals and initiatives.

Qualifications include a current and valid nursing license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia, comprehensive knowledge of critical care nursing practices and protocols, demonstrated ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team, commitment to upholding patient rights and ethical standards in all interactions, and ability to adapt to a dynamic clinical environment and respond to patient needs efficiently.

This position operates within a clinical setting supported by Nurse Managers and other leaders, aligned with a governance model that encourages shared decision-making and professional growth.
