Special Education Teacher - Mojave, California | Local $50/hr or Travel Package $2,010/Week We are seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support high school students in a resource classroom setting. This is a 36-week contract opportunity with 5 openings available, starting September 28, 2026. Position Highlights High School Resource Classroom 37.5 Hours per Week 36-Week Contract High Behavioral Support Environment Client Interview Required Pay Rates Local Pay: $50.00/hour Travel Pay Package: Up to $2,010/week (including housing and meals stipends) Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred Valid State Teaching Certification required Special Education certification preferred Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred CPR certification if applicable Must meet all state, federal, and local requirements Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred Endorsement: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) preferred Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Benefits Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
