The role involves collaborating with tax, finance, and business stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance, providing technical leadership, and mentoring development teams while driving application stability and performance. Key Responsibilities:Lead development, maintenance, and support of tax reporting applications.Collaborate with business, tax, and compliance teams to define requirements and solutions.Design, review, test, and deploy mainframe-based reporting solutions.Ensure application performance, stability, and regulatory compliance.Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.Mentor developers and support project planning and estimation. Required Skills:8+ years of IBM Mainframe development experience.Strong expertise in COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS.Experience with Zeke, File Manager, Abend-Aid, SPUFI, SORT, ICETOOL.Knowledge of SFTP processes, report generation, batch processing, and job scheduling.Strong SQL, debugging, performance tuning, and Azure DevOps/source control experience.Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
