Whatever your priorities – work / life balance, career progression, sustainability, volunteering – you’ll find like-minded people driving change at Howden.**Key Qualifications & Responsibilities*** 15+ years of progressive experience within the insurance, risk management, brokerage, or financial services industry, including senior leadership responsibilities.* Lead the development and execution of the U.S. market growth strategy, aligning business objectives with overall organizational goals.* Drive revenue growth through new business development, client retention, strategic partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.* Build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.* Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients, carriers, and industry partners.* Partner with regional and business leaders to identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive advantages.* Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and operational efficiency.* Represent the organization at industry events, client meetings, and leadership forums to enhance brand presence and market influence.* Utilize market intelligence and data analytics to inform strategic decision-making and drive business results.* Champion organizational change initiatives and support continued growth, innovation, and operational excellence.**Preferred Leadership Traits*** Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale teams and complex business operations.* Exceptional executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills.* Strong strategic, financial, and commercial acumen.* Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional collaboration.**Compensation**The expected base salary range for this role is $350,000- 435,000; actual pay rate will be determined based on factors including candidate experience and work location.
