Job Description
Blooming Hill Farm is looking for servers and bartenders to build our events team. We are located on 1251 Route 208 between Monroe and Washingtonville. Our restaurant and wedding venue is located on an operating farm. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working. Servers and bartenders are cross trained on both events and restaurant service.
Compensation is $11 per hour plus tips when working in the restaurant and $25+ per hour when working an event (plus come cash tips).
Responsibilities
- Setting up for service and events
- Have solid knowledge of wine list, beer and cocktail menus
- Understanding our food menu in order to help customers make menu selections and answering questions about preparation and allergies.
- Delivering a great customer experience with the hopes of creating repeat guests
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Qualifications Desired
- Proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Ability to multitask efficiently
- Ability to work on a team
- Strong organizational skills
