This role provides an excellent opportunity to lead the development and delivery of reliable, performant, and scalable integration services, and evolve Modmed's API Ecosystem.**Responsibilities:*** Design, develop, and maintain software systems in the area of ownership and ensure that they meet business objectives.* Ensure deliverables meet the functional and non-functional criteria, and drive changes proactively where outcomes are misaligned.* Align development efforts with business objectives by collaborating closely with senior engineers and cross-functional team members across geos.* Identify and implement best practices for efficient operational processes or technical solutions that elevate the team's performance* Promote a culture of continuous improvement by guiding other engineers through design, code, and operational reviews.* Providing coaching and mentoring to junior engineers.**Skills & Requirements:*** Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.* 8+ years of software development experience, preferably in a technical leadership role.* Exceptional programming skills, encompassing Java, Spring Boot, SQL, RESTful services.* Experience with public cloud services, preferably AWS.* Full stack (backend, frontend, operations) experience is a plus.* Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across functional lines, and cross geo teams.* Healthcare Interoperability experience (HL7, FHIR) is advantageous.***ModMed Benefits Highlight:*** At ModMed, we believe it’s important to offer a competitive benefits package designed to meet the diverse needs of our growing workforce.
