Senior Software Engineer - IAM - Hybrid

Overview ModMed is hiring a driven Senior Software Engineer to be part of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing identity solutions that ensure the security and scalability of our platform. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers in the team and cross-functional teams to integrate identity services seamlessly across our products and drive innovation in the IAM space within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine! Your Role Design & build secure, scalable IAM solutions using OAuth, SAML & industry standards. Implement, customize & optimize Keycloak for peak performance & security. Collaborate with other engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Champion IAM best practices, and drive adoption across the organization. Continuously learn & evaluate emerging trends & technologies in the IAM space. Skills & Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. 6+ years of industry experience with a focus on identity and access management. Expertise in OAuth, SAML, and other authentication and authorization protocols. Hands-on experience with Keycloak or similar IAM platforms, Strong Java / Spring Boot / SQL experience. Experience with AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Familiarity with OWASP, NIST standards and frameworks.
