Description

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and seat them at tables in a timely and organized manner
• Present menus and provide knowledgeable recommendations about food and beverage offerings
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using point-of-sale (POS) systems and communicate them clearly to kitchen and bar staff
• Deliver food and beverages to tables with attention to detail, ensuring orders are correct and presented professionally
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns with empathy and efficiency
• Process payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and provide appropriate change
• Clear and reset tables promptly while maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Collaborate with team members to support overall restaurant operations and assist colleagues when needed
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards consistently to maintain a safe dining environment
• Manage multiple tables simultaneously while maintaining composure in fast-paced situations
• Respond to guest requests and special needs with flexibility and a customer-focused approach
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment through open communication and collaborative problem-solving

Qualifications
Experience Positive attitude, work ethic, and commitment to guest satisfaction (preferred)
Food Handler Certification or ServSafe Certification (preferred) (preferred)
Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to changing situations (preferred)
Strong teamwork and collaborative mindset (preferred)
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed (preferred)
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively (preferred)
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (preferred)
Cash handling experience and basic math proficiency (preferred)
Attention to detail and organizational skills (preferred)
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds regularly (preferred)
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment (preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities (preferred)
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor (preferred)
Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills (preferred)
Previous food service or hospitality experience (preferred) (preferred)
