Job OpportunityWe are seeking a qualified Sonographer with a minimum of three years of experience in an acute hospital setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate competency in various ultrasound procedures across multiple specialties and will possess the necessary certifications and skills to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.Job DutiesThe Sonographer will be responsible for performing a range of ultrasound procedures including but not limited to:Abdomen: Imaging of the Aorta, IVC, Liver/Biliary, Pancreas, Spleen, and Renal structures, addressing both normal and pathological conditions.Gynecology (GYN): Evaluations of the breast, ovaries, adnexa, uterus, and pelvis, including normal and pathological assessments in post-menopausal women and both adult and pediatric populations.Obstetrics (OB): Conducting ultrasounds during all trimesters, managing interventions such as amniocentesis, and assessing complications, biophysical profiles, gestational age, placental grading, and identifying abnormalities including IUGR.Neonatal: Ultrasound evaluation for congenital anomalies and neonatal head imaging.Superficial Structures: Imaging of abdominal wall, breast, focal masses, hematomas, scrotum/testes, and thyroid.Vascular: Conducting carotid duplex exams, segmental pressure studies, and upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex assessments.Equipment UtilizedCanon i700Meditech EMRFuji Synapse PACSQualificationsMinimum of 3 years' experience as a full-time Sonographer in an acute hospital setting.One or more completed contracts of experience.Active ARDMS certifications in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB), and Vascular Technology (RVT).Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Work ScheduleThis position involves a 40-hour work week with variable shifts. On-call duties may be required, and the candidate should be open to floating to other units or departments as needed.Dress CodeProfessional healthcare attire, including personal scrubs, is required.Important NoteAll candidates must be available to arrive the Thursday before their start date to complete an employee health appointment on the following Friday.
