Located in the heart of the world's largest medical center (Texas Medical Center), Baylor is affiliated with multiple educational, healthcare and research affiliates (Baylor Affiliates).Summary The Division of Hospital Medicine of the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine has an opening for a PRN faculty position at CHRISTUS Children's as a Pediatric Hospitalist. This position comes with a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics.Job Duties Responsibilities include the provision of hospital care to pediatric inpatients, including overnight coverage; consultations and co-management of sub-specialty, surgical, and psychiatric pediatric patients; pediatric sedation; teaching fellows, residents, medical students, and staff; active involvement in inpatient quality, safety, and administrative activities; and protected time for academic/scholarly activities in clinical informatics, outcomes research, child advocacy, education, or quality improvement.Minimum Qualifications • MD/DO degree. • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (or eligible for same). • BE/BC in Pediatric Hospital MedicineBaylor College of Medicine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action/Equal Access Employer.
