Marni von Wilpert for California: Field Organizer LOCATION San Diego, CA SALARY $4500 - $4500 (Monthly) SECOND LANGUAGE Spanish - Second Language Preferred COMPANY Marni von Wilpert for California DEPARTMENT Organizing EMPLOYMENT TYPE Campaign MINIMUM LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE Entry Level APPLY BY August 7, 2026 JOB DESCRIPTION Overview: The Marni von Wilpert for Congress campaign in CA-48 is hiring Field Organizers to help execute our organizing plans and flip this DCCC Red to Blue seat. This is a full-time position based in San Diego County, CA or Riverside County, CA. This position reports directly to the Organizing Director and works in close collaboration with other staff in executing their duties and supporting the day-to-day operations of the campaign. Responsibilities: Recruiting, managing, and training volunteers to participate in direct voter contact such as door-to-door canvassing and phone banking Implement the campaign's field strategy at the regional level, including canvassing, phone banking, and text outreach Track and report all voter contact and volunteer activity; maintain data quality and meet clearly defined goals Coordinate with coalition partners and represent the campaign at community events and volunteer activations Qualifications: 1+ cycle of full-time organizing with a campaign is preferred but not required Extreme attention to detail and excellent time management skills Strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in VAN, preferably PDI, and Google Suite. Access to a cell phone, a laptop, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $4,500/month, commensurate with experience. The campaign will provide a healthcare stipend as needed. This is a full-time position based in San Diego County, CA.
