Join our dynamic warehouse operations team as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk in West Jefferson, OH. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our production and distribution processes run smoothly. We seek a detail-oriented and dependable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for pulling and packing orders, managing inventory, receiving materials, and ensuring accurate and timely shipments.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders and specifications.
• Utilize hand-scanners and WMS for efficient pick, pack, and inventory actions.
• Inspect merchandise for quality and accuracy before packing.
• Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and safety during transit.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory counts as needed.
• Prepare orders for truck loading and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other warehouse staff to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with supply chain, production floor, and quality control systems in a GMP/ISO/HACCP environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Proficiency in computer usage and typing.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
• Self-motivated and adaptable in a team environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with general labor, warehouse shipping, and inventory management.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Jefferson, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
