What You’ll Do

• Deliver expert nursing care in the neonatal intensive care unit utilizing the Nursing Process
• Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate care plans for neonates and their families
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
• Use data and clinical judgment to evaluate and modify care strategies
• Educate families on neonatal health and care needs
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, federal, state, and local regulations
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely

What You Need
Required:

• Current Louisiana RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU or relevant clinical experience
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Good judgment and ability to manage time effectively

Preferred:

• Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRP)
• Certification in a clinical specialty area
