Travel Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,958 per week

Position Overview Travel Cath Lab Technologist (Cath Lab Radiologist) for a 13‑week assignment in Rockville, MD. Key Responsibilities Prepare laboratory procedure rooms and ensure availability of equipment, including instrument sterilization. Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures – prepare site of entry, drape patient, arrange sterilized instruments and catheters, calibrate and set up pressure transducers and tubing. Operate and maintain quality control of all cath lab equipment. Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician in maneuvering catheters. Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using amplifiers, fluoroscopy, and line equipment. Monitor the patient’s hemodynamic status during procedures. Participate in life‑saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience in a cath lab, preferably as a Cath Lab Radiologist. Certifications: BLS , ACLS ; ARRT (R)–CI preferred or CCI‑RCIS; state licensing as required. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Ready to work 10‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week for 13 weeks on a travel assignment. Compensation Pay based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week; tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
