Position Overview Position title: Lecturer Salary range: See Table 15 for the salary range for this position. The International Institute sets the starting salary for this position at Salary Point 4. Position Description The UCLA International Institute's Academic Programs seeks applications for temporary, part-time lecturer positions during the 2026-27 academic year. Lecturer appointments are established quarter by quarter according to the instructional needs and budget constraints of the department. Applications will be kept on file for consideration for any openings that may occur throughout the year. Responsibilities include lecturing, conducting regularly scheduled office hours, and the writing and grading of assignments and exams. Department Qualifications Basic qualifications: Qualified candidates must hold a Ph.D. (or other terminal degree) in a related discipline.
