Project Accountants work closely with Architectural, Interior Design and Planning Project Managers and Principals to ensure accurate and consistent accounting and billing at the project level.Responsibilities include:Build and maintain respectful relationships with the project teamPartner with the Project Manager throughout the project life cycleSet up new projects in the accounting systemPrepare percentage-of completion revenue recognition and monthly billing/invoicingProcess accounts payable related to consultant and vendor invoices relevant to projectsMonitor accounts receivable aging and manage collections communication with clientsServe as a liaison between design-minded creative staff and the financial management side of the firmQualifications:3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a professional services environmentAbility to be a self-starter, team player, highly organized, detail oriented and have a positive attitudeExcellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment are a mustProficiency with Microsoft Office is required. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are preferredPrior experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or Vision desiredBachelor's degree in Accounting requiredThis is your opportunity to join a talented team of professionals.
