Job Title: Commercial Construction Project Manager Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to lead commercial construction projects from inception through closeout while working in a values-driven, team-oriented environment. As a Commercial Construction Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the project life cycle, collaborate closely with ownership, and manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships. • Oversee all stages of the project life cycle from pre-construction through closeout.
• Create, manage, and track project budgets to ensure financial performance and cost control.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, monitoring progress and adjusting as needed.
• Manage the Request for Information (RFI) and submittal processes to ensure timely and accurate communication.
• Lead project buyout activities, including procurement and negotiation with subcontractors and vendors.
• Prepare, manage, and administer subcontracts throughout the project.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Oversee cost management and reporting, providing regular updates on financial status and forecasts.
• Identify, address, and manage the resolution of project issues and conflicts in a timely manner.
• Manage project staff, providing direction, coordination, and support to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead and coordinate the project closeout process, ensuring all documentation, punch lists, and final requirements are completed.

• At least 5 years of experience managing projects as a Project Manager for a Commercial General Contractor.
• Demonstrated project management experience in commercial construction.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Comprehensive understanding of construction plans and specifications.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong math and analytical skills for budgeting, cost control, and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.
• Construction management and estimation experience.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with owners, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Experience working within structured operational systems and processes.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.

This is a Permanent position based out of Rogers, MN.

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
