Front Desk Representative

As a Medical Office Front Desk Representative, you are the first point of contact for patients and visitors to our medical practice. Your role is pivotal in creating a welcoming and organized environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks critical to the smooth operation of our medical office. Responsibilities: Welcome patients and visitors, answer inquiries and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner. Answer and route incoming calls, manage emails, and relaymessages to relevant staff. Manage patient appointments, coordinatewith medical staff to ensure optimal scheduling and minimal wait times. Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with privacy regulations, such as HIPAA. Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries, verify coverage, and process co-payments or payments. Work closely with billing and coding staff as required. Perform various administrative tasks,filing, scan documents, maintaininventory of supplies. Maintain front desk area and waiting room tidy, organized, and well-stocked with necessary forms, brochures, and supplies. Ensure the smooth flow of patients within the medical office, optimizing efficiency and minimizing wait time. Qualifications: Experience working in a medical office, preferred Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Proficient in using medical office software, electronic health records (EHR) systems Able to liftand/or move up to 25 pounds, required Part-time, Saturday only position.
