Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum

Location: Middleburg Heights, OH
Unit: Labor & Delivery / Postpartum (OB)
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 07/20/2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and obstetric patients.
• Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial patient assessments.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and modify individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
• Provide postpartum assessments and newborn care.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and treatments as ordered.
• Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, newborn care, and discharge instructions.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation.

Schedule & Shift Details:

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 12-Hour Shifts
• 3 Shifts per Week (36 Hours)
• Every 3rd Weekend
  

Requirements:

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery, Obstetrics, and/or Postpartum nursing experience
• BLS Certification – Required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
• STABLE Certification – Required
