Waste Pro is seeking a driven, relationship-focused Territory Sales Representative to grow our commercial waste and recycling business throughout Florida's Treasure Coast.

This is an outside sales position for someone who enjoys getting into the market, meeting business owners and decision-makers, developing relationships, prospecting for new opportunities, and closing business.

We are especially interested in candidates with sales experience in the waste and recycling industry. Experience selling commercial services in construction, environmental services, hauling, equipment rental, property management, or another service-based industry will also be considered.

The Territory

You will be responsible for developing commercial business throughout the Treasure Coast area, with our Waste Pro division located in Fort Pierce, Florida.

This is a growing and diverse market with opportunities to develop new commercial accounts, expand customer relationships, and increase revenue.

Candidates may live within the territory as long as they can travel extensively throughout the assigned market and commute to the Fort Pierce division office as needed.

What You'll Do

As a Territory Sales Representative, you will take ownership of developing new commercial business within your assigned market.

You will:

• Prospect for and develop new commercial waste and recycling customers
• Build a strong pipeline through cold calling, in-person prospecting, networking, referrals, community involvement, and lead generation
• Meet with business owners, contractors, property managers, developers, municipal representatives, and other decision-makers
• Identify customer needs and recommend the right Waste Pro services and solutions
• Sell commercial waste collection, recycling, hauling, transportation, processing, and disposal services
• Develop new accounts while identifying opportunities to expand existing customer relationships
• Prepare proposals, pricing, bids, contracts, and responses to requests for proposals
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms while meeting company profitability requirements
• Follow up consistently and move opportunities through the sales process
• Build long-term customer relationships that drive retention, renewals, and additional business
• Partner closely with Operations, Finance, Division Management, and Sales leadership to ensure customer expectations are met
• Stay involved when customer concerns arise and help drive solutions
• Maintain accurate prospect, customer, proposal, and sales activity in Salesforce
• Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual sales opportunities
• Monitor competitors, pricing, market activity, and new business opportunities within your territory
• Represent Waste Pro at community, civic, business, construction, and industry networking events

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a hunter who can also build relationships.

Our ideal candidate has:

• Commercial sales, outside sales, business development, or account management experience
• Waste and recycling industry sales experience strongly preferred
• Experience in construction, environmental services, hauling, equipment rental, property management, or a similar commercial service industry also considered
• Experience prospecting and developing a geographic sales territory
• A track record of generating leads and developing new business
• Experience selling recurring services, commercial contracts, or account-based solutions
• Strong consultative and solution-based selling skills
• Experience with presentations, proposals, pricing, negotiation, forecasting, and closing
• Experience preparing bids, contracts, or RFP responses preferred
• Experience using Salesforce or another CRM strongly preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work independently, manage a territory, and stay accountable for results
• A professional, persistent, competitive, and customer-focused approach to sales
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory

An associate or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred; however, strong relevant sales and industry experience may be considered in place of formal education.
