MRI TechnologistThe MRI Technologist will be responsible for conducting MRI imaging procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. This position operates under the Radiology department guidelines to ensure high-quality imaging and optimal patient care.Imaging Services ProvidedMRIRadiology (X-Ray and CT)Nuclear MedicineUltrasound (excluding echocardiograms and perinatal imaging)Certifications and Licenses RequiredBLS CertificationFluoroscopic License (if applicable)California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) License and R-CredentialCertification in CT is preferredEquipment and TechnologyThe technologist will utilize the following systems:Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR)DR PACSPhilips Imaging EquipmentWork Schedule10 or 12-hour shifts (Radiology/CT)10-hour shifts (MRI)8 or 10-hour shifts (Nuclear Medicine)8 or 10-hour shifts (Ultrasound)Additional RequirementsWeekend coverage may be required based on departmental needsHoliday shifts will be worked as neededRegistered Technologists must be available for rotational shiftsWork EnvironmentThe position is set in an acute care setting with a trauma level of 3.
