Sales Executive Specializing in Employee Benefits

We are a leading insurance brokerage and consulting firm, serving hospitals, public entities, California school districts, TPA services and commercial businesses. Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of: employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability. As part of Gallagher, a global leader in insurance, risk management, and consulting, you'll be joining a team that's passionate about helping individuals and organizations thrive.
How you'll make an impact:
- Develop new business opportunities by identifying and contacting prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in your territory.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable Employee Benefits products and services.
- Promote Keenan's private-label products and cross-sell other offerings.
- Collaborate with clients to create and execute annual strategic plans.
- Oversee renewals, negotiations, and program changes to ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide day-to-day support to clients' administrative teams.
About You Required:
- Bachelor's degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR
- Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing required OR
- High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Analytical, creative, and highly organized with strong prioritization abilities. Active California Life & Disability Agent license.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
