Speech Language Pathologist Assistant SLPA

The SLPA will provide support and services under the direct supervision of a licensed SLP, for children (birth to 21 years) and work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and social communication. All hours spent at the clinic are paid. Responsibilities Ongoing speech sessions with clients on caseload Data tracking to report on goals Clear communication with parents to review sessions and deliver home assignments Maintaining SOAP notes for daily appointments Provide direct treatment by following plans or protocols developed by the supervising SLP Document client performance and report performance to supervising SLP Hold a current SLPA license Hold a current fingerprint clearance card Ability to be flexible Strong communication skills Strong leadership skills Ability to work independently Collection of data with each session Qualifications Hold a current SLPA license Hold a current fingerprint clearance card Ability to be flexible Strong communication skills Strong leadership skills Ability to work independently Collection of data with each session Job Details Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) to Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) Location: Clinic-based work All hours spent at the clinic are paid #J-18808-Ljbffr New Horizon Therapy
