Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations using a variety of standardized assessments tailored for pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients.

• Deliver focused, one-on-one speech therapy sessions that enhance communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing capabilities.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to create a holistic approach to care.
• Educate patients and their families, empowering them to support ongoing progress in day-to-day settings.
• Undertake occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the care continuum.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation that adheres to organizational, state, and federal standards.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying abreast of advancements in the field through education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first month of employment.
