Travel Nurse RN OR - Operating Room (Kansas City, Kansas) Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks (40 hours per week) Shift: 8 hours, days (06:30-15:00, M-F) Employment Type: Travel Experience Requirements: 2+ years experience, must have level 1 trauma experience. Must have strong scrub experience. Required familiarity with DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, and ex lap cases. Experience Preferred: Previous travel experience, especially in Ortho, general, trauma, gyn, urology, and plastics. License/Certification Requirements: KS RN license & AHA BLS. Floating Requirements: Will float to all ORs. Weekend Requirements: None. On‑Call Requirements: Required, up to six shifts per 13‑week contract. Holiday Requirements: Required if a holiday falls on a set scheduled day. New Graduate Eligibility: No. Orientation: New employee orientation on Monday–Tuesday; nursing orientation on Wednesday–Friday, offered weekly in the summer. Credits Due: One week prior to start, Monday.
