Regional Sales Rep - Menards

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Regional Sales Rep - Menards to join our growing team. The role is responsible for all sales activities in assigned territory to support, develop and drive top line sales growth. Principal duties and responsibilities include representing JELD-WEN Inc in a professional manner by presenting and selling company products and sales programs, training customer sales associates how to sell JELD-WEN products and services, preparing sales plans and call schedules based on analysis of provided data and market opportunities, understanding competition in market, understanding JELD-WEN products to develop feature-benefit explanations, being prepared with current sales numbers for each store call and use those to maximize impact, maintaining in-store POP and displays, supporting customer efforts to grow targeted business, identifying and resolving store associate and management concerns, and other duties may be assigned.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities required include the ability to read blueprints and knowledge to perform window and door take-offs required, proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Customer Relationship Management Software, Electronic Pricing Catalogue, Other Electronic pricing methods (MQS/M2O, etc.), Expense Reporting Program, and Internet Web Browser, comfortable working with hand tools to maintain in-store displays and POP, ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, and the ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. The employee may be required to travel in support of sales, training, and service management. 50%+ Education and Experience include an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum of five years related sales experience and/or training, preferably in the window and door industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
