Certifications:
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography
- Qualifications meeting FDA MQSA requirements for Mammography
- Current BLS certification
Special Skills Needed:
- Hands-on proficiency with the Hologic Dimensions 2D/3D Tomosynthesis unit
- Independent performance of screening and diagnostic exams
- FDA/MQSA and ACR quality assurance/quality control procedures
- Documentation in RPMS, EHR, and PACS
- Cultural sensitivity working with Native American, Spanish-speaking, and limited-English-proficiency patients
- Verify patient identity and exam requirements
- Prepare, position, and monitor patients for Mammography exams
- Independently perform screening and diagnostic Mammography (2D/3D) within scope of qualifications
- Perform FDA/MQSA and ACR-required QA/QC activities
- Apply patient-safety and radiation-safety practices
- Review images for technical quality
- Document services accurately and timely in Government systems
- Comply with PIMC infection-control, safety, privacy, and security requirements
