TMC Bonham Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital that includes both primary care and specialty physicians. The Critical Access Hospital, offering both inpatient and outpatient services along with 24-hour emergency services. The Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Program was established to assure access to healthcare services for rural residents. The program provides rural acute care hospitals with a range of opportunities for service enhancement and quality of care improvement. Quality healthcare and patient safety is our goal. Additionally, nursing will provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times. The Standards of Practice set forth by the professional nursing associations will provide guidelines for the competent, safe and professional practice.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements: Current RN licensure in the State of Texas, or compact required, BSN preferred. Two years experience in acute care MS nursing. One year charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred. Must maintain all clinical competencies for area of supervision. RQI BLS and ACLS with new hire orientation. Must maintain all additional certifications required by area of supervision. Clinical certification in area of supervision preferred (i.e. MSCRN etc.) Must be clinically competent in area of population served. Must demonstrate knowledge and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel. Must possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate team leadership. Must have the ability to problem solve and think critically. Must possess basic computer application skills.
