Overview We are looking for a talented Cook/Chef to join our team at NHC Place Sumner. Work Schedule AM Cook: 4:00 am – 12:30 pm Compensation $17‑$20 per hour Qualifications Healthcare food service experience preferred but not required. Banquet/Catering experience preferred but not required. Review menus, therapeutic menus, recipes, and production sheets before preparing meals; prepare and serve diets accurately and attractively using proper portions and special diet items. Follow standardized recipes and special diet orders, preparing sufficient quantities to meet all service requirements. Test and taste foods of all consistencies for proper appearance, flavor, aroma, and temperature, adjusting as needed. Supervise kitchen staff when needed.
