Counter Sales Representative – Welding Supply Company

We are a well-established welding supply and industrial gas distributor looking for a motivated, dependable Counter Sales Representative to join our team. If you enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Assist customers with welding supplies, industrial gases, safety equipment, and related products.

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

Answer customer questions and recommend the right products for their needs.

Receive, stock, and organize inventory.

Maintain a clean, professional showroom and sales counter.

Answer phones and assist with customer inquiries.

Work closely with warehouse and delivery staff to ensure excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.

Welding, industrial, or construction product knowledge is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Positive attitude, dependable, and team-oriented.

Leadership experience or the desire to grow into a management role is a plus.
