Dedicated Logistics CoordinatorJOB SUMMARY: The Dedicated Logistics Coordinator provides overall direction throughout the Dedicated Fleet operation and provides operational assistance to the Director of Dedicated Operations wherever needed.JOB DESCRIPTION:Key Responsibilities:Maintains positive and encouraging working relations with all driversProvides constant communications of service issues to appropriate personnel and departments, both internal (STEVENS TRANSPORT) and external (Customer)Performs load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using both AS400Coordinates daily data entry into STEVENS TRANSPORT's TMS platformCoordinates with home-office invoicing team to ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly customer invoicesEnsures accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasksProvides weekly KPI/performance data reports to both internal and external partiesCoordinates daily on scheduling truck and trailer maintenance.Works with safety department on Netradyne, driver compliance and HOS issuesAssists Director of Dedicated Operations with implementing STEVENS TRANSPORT's Safety, Security and Labor policiesAssists and provides coverage throughout departments during vacations, holidays if necessaryAssists with driver payrollAudits and approves driver expense reportsProvides assistance to wherever neededRegular and ad-hoc reporting (P&L, revenue share, load counts, etc.)QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Qualifications:Minimum 2-3 years' experience in logistics and/or transportationComputer applications experience including MS OfficeExcellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision-making skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work efficiently and multitaskAbility and availability to work extended hours if necessaryDemonstrated knowledge of applicable federal/state regulations and DOT regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Excel reporting functionsPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with transportation of temperature-controlled productHighly organized and communicative, especially in the development of action plans and to ensure accountability and follow-throughAbility to perform in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with rapidly changing prioritiesSome knowledge of the AS400 operating system preferredSKILLS & ABILITIES:Team BuildingLeadershipAnalysisDecision MakingCustomer ServiceProblem SolvingStrong CommunicationPrioritizationExcelMS OfficeAS400LogisticsAd-hoc reportingPHYSICAL DEMANDS:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerRegular use of hand and finger dexterityWORK EXPERIENCE:2+ years of experience within or directly related to the transportation industryWorkshift:Education:In compliance with Federal and State equal employment opportunity laws, qualified candidates are considered for all positions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, veteran status, non-job-related disability, or any other protected group status.
